Definitely one of the strongest series of vehicles in the game. Top tier completely dominant.
Rank 1: the ki-27 is pretty good. Good turn rate and engine. Rank 2: a6m2 and j2m2 are really good. The early a6m still claps at its br. Rank 3: ki-43-III, a6m5, and a7m2 are some of my favorite planes in the tree. I used the ki-43 to grind out the entire tree through ranks 3 and 4. Rank 4: The ki-84 ko is really good, it plays like a late p-51
Germany if you want to climb to space and have extreme firepower (also good to start since you're a noob). Britain if you want to turn like the Japanese do but actually have an engine to catch people. America for speed and 50 cals. Russia for dogfighting and reversals, and general Yak ufoness.
